This storyline was a totally new and very intriguing plot to me! First book by this author and I really enjoyed it. Two brothers having been pitted against each other after the murder of their parents. Graham, the protagonist, is an assassin who I didn’t really like in the beginning. But as you are reading and introduced to his brother, you wrangle with which one to hate and which one to like. The author did a great job developing the characters and their personalities, along with a great storyline.
It is a multilayered plot but it is not hard to follow. This mystery suspense had no ah-ha moment to discovering the murderers. Graham’s forgotten past will take its course to revealing the murderer and why and it helps him to solve the mystery but then the question becomes: family or justice? Evil vs good? Ultimately the decision will affect him for the rest of his life. The suspense in this book is very good!
